We had the pleasure of having Ali Noel from Wistia speak with our HubSpot User Group about video marketing this quarter. She talked about how video can make your brand stand out from the crowd, show your audience the real humans that are behind your brand, and ultimately drive qualified leads and build a more loyal following. It was a fantastic night and our attendees had lots of questions about getting started with video, and what tools they can use to make a big impact without a large video budget.
After being inconvenienced by a nor'easter early in the week, we held our Q1 HUG meetup for 2018 on March 15th. We had the pleasure of having Jeffrey Vocell, senior manager of product marketing at HubSpot, talk to us about how SEO has changed over the years and how to adapt your strategy for success.
HUG Recap: Making the most of your marketing, sales, and operations tools
Our 1st quarter meetup for 2017 was on making the most of your marketing, sales, and operations tools, using Salesforce and HubSpot. Chris Eustace and Ben Smith from Eustace Consulting shared with us a few of their processes that enable them to keep track of their business, from sales through invoicing. They use Salesforce as their main hub for marketing, sales, customer service, accounting, and collaboration and have created a series of connections through the software they use for each piece of their business. The result is an automated business management machine, and the demo they showed us was pretty incredible. Here's a look at their slides, complete with the applications they use for each function of their business.
Manchester HUG Q2 Recap: Collecting Better Data to Send Even Better Email
On June 14th, a group of hungry marketers joined us for a wonderful Manchester HubSpot User Group Meetup. Our speaker was Nina Stepanov, a HubSpotter who works in marketing at Inbound.org. Whe she started there, their biggest challenge was getting people to use the site for more than just posting articles from other sites. They wanted people to post interesting content on the site, and more importantly, for people to engage with those articles and each other.
